Parent Engagement Program

The Parent Engagement Program is designed to support the parents of our Denver Kids, Inc. students.  The Denver Kids, Inc. Parent Liaison promotes parent engagement within Denver Kids, Inc. and Denver Public Schools and serves as a link between Denver Kids, Inc. parents and external agencies.

Parent engagement is supported through parent groups, training on relevant topics, referrals and consultation to counselors, and by providing resources to parents. The resources and referrals provided to parents include medical care, legal assistance, housing and consultation regarding the special education process. The program develops relationships with other organizations school-based and community organizations.
